Lace-up or Lose it?

This lace-up trend seems to be EVERYWHERE right now, am i right? Well here is how to rock it, before it is as dead as a door nail.

If you are new to this trend, here is the appeal: skin, lots of it, in the chest area, kind of obvious, don’t you think? My take on it, counteract the obvious. A little skin can go a long way and you will still be stylin’. Look for the trend in more sophisticated silhouettes, like a deletedress with sleeves, not a plunging bodysuit. Don’t get me wrong, i love a good bodysuit, and if you do decide to take this route, promise me you will pop a blazer over it? (Right)

Or style a tank with a small v-neck, untied with a completer piece over it, a jean jacket is always my go-to (Left).img_6625 This is a easy, simple everyday look, that will look great with jeans or tucked into a skirt for a dressier occasion. Also, did i mention how comfy it is, you don’t feel like your bits and pieces are out on display but you still feel trendy.img_6806

Sometimes you want to be a bit more unexpected though, and
for that i just look down. My new favorite way to rock this tie trend? In your footwear! These over-the-knee lace up boots are EVERYTHING  and you knock out two trending styles in one! (right)  Tie up shoes can add some coverage to the leg when needed, such as flats with a short skirt. Tie up those loose ends before the style is gone for good.
