IPSY March 2017

I am always excited to see this hot pink mailer peeking out of my mailbox. Ipsy is one of my favorite beauty subscriptions that I receive. It is certainly the most bang for your buck compared to other $10 a month subscriptions. I did see a few spoilers and it seems like a great bag this time around!

Tarte CosmeticsTarteist™ Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint in “Rosé”

This was my favorite sample that I received! The liquid lipstick craze has not seemed to die down quite yet. This nude with a hint of pink shade goes on smooth, dries matte, smells good and stays put! I am fine with the size of the sample because it takes so long to get through a lip product. It is the perfect everyday nude shade, and will compliment any makeup look. I can see this being my new go-to color!

Skone Cosmetics Luxe Pro Blending Brush

Always a fan of receiving brushes, especially eye shadow brushes. I haven’t had to buy a new brush on my own in such a long time. You can never have too many fluffy blending brushes! I did not know what my eyeshadow was missing until I started using a brush like this. It makes it so easy and quick to blend out any eye look. This brush is very soft and will get so much use.

Doucce Freematic Eyeshadow in “Marisa”

At first I was disappointed due to the size of this product, it is fairly small in person. However, I then realized it has magnets on the back so it can easily be put it into my Z-Palette! I have a blush from this brand and it is my FAVORITE, I wear it almost everyday. The color of this eyeshadow is gorgeous and will be perfect for a fun, colorful look.. It is a coppery mauve shade with a ton of shimmer. It went on very pigmented and smooth, I cannot wait to put this to the test!

Chella Eyebrow Highlighter Pencil in Ivory Lace

I have heard about this brand many times, but have yet to try anything from it. I was excited to  get this brow highlighting pencil because I don’t have anything like it in my collection. It is super convenient and fast to sculpt out my brows. The pencil is creamy to apply and blends easily. I plan to use it for concealing any brow hairs I haven’t gotten the chance to pluck. It could also be used to subtly highlight the high points of your face.

Misses

Neogen Coconut Milk Pure Mild Cleanser

I am such a brat in saying that this is a miss, but it is how I feel about these types of samples. I am sure it is a fine cleanser,  it smells and feels good on the skin. It will get put to use because it is a perfect size to travel with. I am also happy with the fact that it is a mild cleanser, because my skin has been freaking out lately. Everything about it is fine, it just did not excite me.

Overall, I am happy with this month’s bag. Being pleased with four out of five products is great. My favorite part is the bag itself! It is by far the cutest bag that Ipsy has sent out, and the larger shape is so useful! You go Ipsy!

    Good one Casey!
Explain the magnets thing to me. I’m confused.

You can put individual eye shadows into a bigger palette if they have magnets on them. That way they don’t get lost in your collection and can all be stored in one place!
