Receiving my Boxycharm is what I wait for each month. I am still so excited that I signed up to receive this beauty subscription. For $21 a month you cannot beat the amazing value. I did see the full spoilers for this month’s box but ended up only receiving two of them, which I thought was odd. I wish I had  gotten more of the items they previewed but it was still a good month!

Lets jump to the products:

Hits:

OFRA Cosmetics Highlighter in “Rodeo Drive”

This is by far my favorite product that I received! I have heard nothing but amazing things about this Ofra highlighter and I couldn’t wait to put it to use. This product is no joke, it is INTENSE! It is buttery smooth and very pigmented, you need to have a light hand and make sure to blend. This looks amazing on the skin and makes you glow like nobody’s business. It is a gorgeous champagne gold shade and looks flattering with many different makeup looks.

Aloette Aloepure Skin Care Time Repair Serum

Since I have been trying to step up my skincare game lately I was excited to get this product. Serum is an important step in my routine, I apply it morning and night before my moisturizer. This serum in particular seems to be working out nicely so far. It is a thin consistency, sinks into the skin fast and does not have an overwhelming fragrance (which can cause pesky breakouts). The first time I used this I applied to much and it felt sticky on my skin, so I now know that a little goes a long way.  Of course it is too soon to notice results quite yet, but so far I enjoy adding this serum to my regime.

Cargo Cosmetics Eyeshadow in “Yukon”

Receiving individual eye shadows is not my favorite thing which you may have picked up on by now. This one however, I am not too upset about. The size itself is huge so I doubt it will get lost in the hustle and bustle of my collection. The shade is one I can see myself wearing all the time, a beautiful taupe with a satin finish. It appears to be long wearing and extremely pigmented. This is the type of eye shadow that would be ideal for a one shadow look. I am excited to start wearing this.

Measurable Difference The Diamond Collection 16 Color Pro Concealer Palette

This is just somewhat of a hit because this palette is only great in theory. This comes with so many different shades it will work for a large range of skin tones. With dark and light shades you can conceal, highlight and contour! Unfortunately the products are a bit too thick for applying under the eyes. I was able to mix these with a facial oil to preform better, but without that step I do not think I would be able to use this palette. Since I do not want to apply that much effort every day this was just a so so product for me.

Pur Cosmetics Makeup Brushes

Even though I wanted the beauty sponges that were shown in the spoilers, I am still excited to have gotten not one but TWO brushes.  It is such an incredible value to receive two full size brushes from a well-known and high end brand. Both of these brushes feel of great quality, the bristles are so soft and the handles feel sturdy. The larger brush will be used to apply my foundation and the smaller one to blend out my concealer. These both look great in my brush collection already!

Overall I am feeling just okay about this box. I will use everything I received but I am only particularity stoked about the highlighter. Oh well, there is always next month! This box has a retail value of $158, I told you that you couldn’t beat the value!

What did you receive this month? I would love to know!
