Ipsy June 2017

Let’s just jump right into it this month, shall we? This is a $10 monthly subscription in which you receive five beauty products. I saw some spoilers for this month and I must say I cannot wait to dive in my items!

Show me the goods:

Beauty For Real I-LINE 24-7 Eyeliner in 24 Karat

This eyeliner pleasantly surprised me. At first I thought it was just another black eyeliner pencil and I almost didn’t even open it! Thank goodness I did though because this eyeliner turned out to be a stunning old gold shade. This liner does NOT budge, like at all. Therefore I highly recommend it for the waterline. I wore this all day today and it didn’t move whatsoever. I wish it was a slightly brighter color because it doesn’t pop as much as I would like but I still love it. Sadly, my pencil came broken so I am not sure how much use I will get out of it, but the product is still pure gold (yes, pun intended).

Margaret Dabbs London Treatment-Enriched Nail Polish in “Green Daylily”

I never mind getting nail polish, in my beauty subscriptions. I do not use it much but I still don’t mind it! I tend to get my nails professionally done far more than I paint my own, but I love using nail polishes for my toes! This color is a bright teal shade and from the looks of it, it is really opaque. I have never heard of or tried anything from this brand and I am always excited to test something new. I will make sure to use this in between manicures or as an unexpected pedicure color! Plus, I enjoy the packaging and that is a huge selling point for me.

VASANTI Cosmetics Power Oils Lip Gloss in “Super Mom”

This is the standout winner from my bag! I haven’t always been a lip gloss kind of girl and still don’t know if I 100% am. This lip gloss however has won me over. The raspberry shade is mega flattering on me and I think it would be on a lot of other skin tones as well. This lip gloss is not sticky whatsoever and is surprisingly pigmented. It has some serious staying power as well, I didn’t feel the need to apply for about 4 hours. My lips look so luscious when I wear this. This will be my new go-to summer lip product. Did I mention it smells fantastic? Just like “Peach-O” rings, Yum!

The Balm Cosmetics “Balm Springs” Blush

First off, can we talk about the packaging of this blush? Totally adorable! Usually the sample sizes of The Balm products are so teeny tiny you cannot get your brush in them. This one though is about double the size of previous ones I received and although it was difficult to get my brush fully covered in product it was not impossible! This rosy shade is extremely pretty on the skin. and blends easily. The best part, it truly did last for my whole day and that is coming from a girl who blush never lasts on! I am strongly considering buying this in the full size.

BioRepublic SkinCare Aloe Rescue Revitalizing Fiber Mask & Green Tea Detox Purifying Fiber Mask

I am NEVER mad at getting face masks, never! I am especially stoked because I got two. Two full size items for the price of one? I will take that any day. I have not tried these ones out quite yet, but I am excited. I have tried face masks from the BioRepublic brand before and they more than did the trick! I will add these to my face mask drawer (my favorite drawer) and will treat myself when my skin needs a pick me up!

I am very happy with my bag this time around! I will use all of these products quite a bit I believe! Also three full size products and no misses?! Those are the signs of a great month!

No significant problems here. Good job! I might have to try some of these products myself.
If I had to change anything in this one,it would have to do with commas–particularly in compound sentences. If that doesn’t make your eyes glaze over, let me know, and we can work on it together.

Yes I certainly need to work on my comma usage! Thank you, <3
