Must Have Trend: Duster Vests

I haven’t always been the biggest fan of outerwear (who wants to cover a cute outfit?!) but perhaps it was just sleeves I was standoffish of because long vests have won over my heart! Duster vests are trending everywhere right now and are the perfect transition item for fall.

This look is lightweight so it will not weigh you down but still warm enough to rock for your early AM coffee run. Best of both worlds! My favorite part? A vest looks far more intentional as a part of your ensemble than a traditional overcoat. A look that keeps you comfy and current? Yes please! I promise this look will fit right in with your current closet favorites.

Look for vests in longer lengths to add visual interest and elongate your line. The span is a nice feature for the days you don’t want your derrière on display as well. Add jeans to spruce up a casual outfit or rock a vest over a dress to downplay the formality. Any way you style it a duster vest will add coverage and elegance but will not overwhelm your frame.

This style is superb for fall because vests are the ideal layering piece. Light layers that don’t need to immediately be peeled off when entering a room are key. Vests paired with sleeveless blouses will keep your summer wardrobe feeling relevant. While this look over long sleeve shirts will have you evoking the epitome of the current season. These are sleeveless jackets after all, a little added warmth will be welcomed in the cooler months.

Vests are best! It wouldn’t rhyme if it wasn’t true, right?! I hope you dig this trend as much as I do. What are your thoughts on this look? Let me know in the comment section. I have linked all my top choices down below. Stay chic & comfy my friends!
